We have just come to the end of our 2007-8 year and have successfully raised £?,???? (TBA soon!) for our chosen charities - Little Haven's Children's Hospice and Crossroads - Caring for Carers
Little Haven's provides fantastic to support to children with life threatening & life-limiting illnesses and their families. They receive very little government funding, so every penny raised will be put to great use.
At Crossroads, it is about giving time - improving the lives of carers by giving them time to be themselves and have a break from their caring responsibilities.
This is a great result, especially as we also raised in excess of £3,000 last year for the same charities in 06-07.
We're about to choose a new charity for the new 08-09 year -- why not come and join us !
Some of our recent activities:
We sold over 900 balloons which we launched from Shenfield Common - quite a sight!! -- and we raised over £1,300 in the process.

We emptied our lofts and sold the lot for charity!
