Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will I be moving into a clique?
A: Well, yes of course we know each other but we all started sometime and still remember how daunting it is to walk into somewhere for the first time.

If we know you are coming along then we can keep an eye out for you -- call (0705 0204896) or email us.

Q: Am I asked for money?
A: No. There is an annual membership fee which is about £15 but we want you to make sure that you are happy with us first before we mention money! Subs go to supporting club activities, administration and the national organisation.

Q: How many Rotaractors are there?
A: In Brentwood we have 25-30 and across Essex there are about 75 so you'll get to meet a lot of new people

There are over 6,000 clubs worldwide so there's a lot of opportunity if you want to go that far :-)

Q: What sort of things do you do?
A: Pubs, clubs, sports, cinema & theatre trips, meals out & theme parks. We are always open to new ideas and suggestions.

See our social and sports page for more information but we also like to do some community and fundraising stuff to.

Q: What about the community or fundraising stuff?
A: We make the most of all the activities and usually finish up in the pub. Because there's a large group of us, these are usually really good fun.
