The first Rotaract Club to be chartered was the Rotaract Club of North Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, on 13 March 1968. This means that Rotaract turns 40 in 2008! Read more about the RGBI Banner and Button for use on your club/district website.

Mobile phone recycling
Rotaract are collecting old mobile phones in aid of Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. Each phone donated raises £2.50 for the charity.

Every year Great Ormond Street Hospital cares for over 90,000 young patients affected by rare, complex and often life-threatening conditions. The hospital has the widest range of paediatric specialties under one roof in the UK, offering patients the very best in medical care.
