Rotaract turns 40!
The first Rotaract Club to be chartered was the Rotaract Club of the University of North Carolina, North Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, on 13 March 1968. This means that Rotaract turns 40 next year!

To commemorate Rotaract’s anniversary, you could partner with your sponsor Rotary club and attend each other’s meetings, complete a service project together, and encourage a nearby Rotary club to sponsor a new Rotaract club in its area. Participating clubs can receive special recognition from Rotary International if activity summaries are submitted to RI staff by 15 April.

Logo Competition
To celebrate this milestone Rotaract in Great Britain & Ireland (RGBI) held a competition to find the best celebration logo that would be used to raise the profile of Rotaract throughout Our Islands.

With 4 entries making it to the shortlist, it was a hotly contested competition. The entries that made it to the final were:
• Winchester Rotaract, D1110
• West Berkshire Rotaract, D1090
• Deben Rotaract, D1080
• Hart & Rushmore Rotaract, D1140

I’m pleased to announce that the winning entry was awarded to Deben Rotaract, as voted on by the Rotaract District Chairmen (DRRs) at the February Council Meeting.

We are encouraging all clubs and districts to download the logo by clicking on the links below and displaying them prominently on their websites, on their letterhead and in any press releases they send out.
